Story

written 12/17/80----- They'd have a PTA fair every year in Garwood and they had a booth that you could write your name and address on a slip of paper, put it in a helium balloon and hopefully someone from China or something would write you back saying they got your message-never happened. Oh yea it's been driving me nuts that I messed up the first line which was supposed to be... "When I was a child I'd look to the CLOUDS as rolling hills and mountains" NOT stars-figured I'd get it out there now...

Lyrics

Make Me A Wish When I was a child I'd look to the clouds as rolling hills and mountains and there I'd wish that I could play on inner fields and fountains yes I could wander where ever my mind would roam birds were my friends and freely we'd sail on breezes from some other continent I'd sail a balloon and wait for reply trying to make corespondence then I could wander wherever my mind could take me and I'd make me a wish that I could sail to the stars making believe was never too hard i'd make me a wish that I would never grow old making believe my pennies were gold I'd make me a wish then I could wander wherever my mind could take me then I'd make me a wish that I could sail to the stars making believe was never too hard i'd make me a wish that I'd never grow old making believe my pennies were gold I'd make me a wish
